From TikTok videos, opening on Saturdays to providing Escabags for women and children fleeing domestic violence, one rural agent is shaking things up in the small town of Quirindi, by incorporating strategies used by the major players in metropolitan areas, to the small regional NSW town of only 3,444 people.

Liz Morris, Principal of ONE AGENCY Liverpool Plains joined the network in November 2021, with a view to bring a fresh approach to the marketing & real estate services.

“TikTok has been a really interesting platform for us, says Ms Morris, which has seen our agency one of the most talked about agencies in town, given that it’s really something new and different. We’ve been described as “alive” “Quirindi famous” and most importantly “the team that’s always assisting”.

Our social media strategy has seen some impressive results to date, says Ms Morris who went on to say with the simplicity of providing sneak peeks through our Instagram stories, we’ve had Sydneysiders show up the next day with offers above expectations, prior to the property hitting the market. Something that’s not been seen here before, Ms Morris explains.

From a personal branding point of view, showcasing who we are is incredibly important, says Ms Morris, and these platforms give us a direct line to the people of Quirindi.

Opening our office on Saturday’s was the first step, says Ms Morris. The weekend is the time the locals are out and about and being the only office in town to provide this, gives us the opportunity to meet with people as they are going about their day.

We’ve used our shopfront window to attract and engage the community, says Ms Morris who has been extremely active within the community, with the team now providing Escabags (escape bags) for women who are fleeing domestic violence. It’s such an important cause, and women and children who are fleeing DV can come in and grab supplies from our office with no questions asked.

Based in Quirindi, northwest slopes region of New South Wales, Ms Morris has single-handedly exchanged 22 sales in 8 months with 8 properties currently on the market.

We now have a rent roll of 125 properties says Ms Morris, who has put on an additional 3 staff with plans to expand the business in the future.

“Just because we are regional doesn’t mean we are behind in strategy and marketing” says Ms Morris who sees social media as an integral part of their marketing strategy. These channels give us the opportunity to reach “emotional buyers”, not just those who are looking on the major real estate portals.

ONE AGENCY Co-Founder, Annie Davies said Ms Morris’s journey has been incredible to watch and is a strong role model for both women and men who want to balance running a successful business & raising a family. This is exactly the freedom ONE AGENCY business owners can enjoy.
